Crusade - Exclaibur's main guns: Best firing sequence?

Excalibur firing her main guns was akin to the Enterprise D's saucer separation, or Voyager landing; cool gimmick but would get old quickly. As it happened she only ever fired the big gun seven times, and her sister ship never fired a single shot on screen. Which was your favourite?

I really liked the FX for Racing the Night. The blast just seemed to work better than others.

Can a mod fix the typo in the thread title? Ta.

...I never noticed any discernible difference between it's uses.
Also, given that there's only half a dozen or so episodes of Crusade, four uses (not counting 'A Call to Arms') seems like a lot when you think about it. Plus I think it would have been used again in at least one of the unfilmed scripts. Honestly I didn't realise they'd even used it even that often.

Actually, there's 13 episodes, plus A Call To Arms
