It's working fine for me Win7/Chrome Time Warner Cable, also on OS X 10.6.8/Safari same connection.

Just a question, but isn't it CBS that owns Star Trek, not Paramount? (re your statement at the bottom).

When Paramount was split up, so were the rights to Star Trek. The movie rights and related stuff are still in the hands of "Paramount", whereas all the TV-related stuff is in the hands of CBS.

Its loading fine now. Not sure what the problem was last night.

The site looks great, by the way. Really jazzed to see the finished product!

Good job on your latest video log, this is looking very good!!!!! Making an episode instead of a movie might have been easier, but it's your choice. I wish you the best of luck. I am sending your videos to other fans of ST to get the word out. You have a great vision and I hope you can complete this movie. I look forward to your next posting and a teaser. LLAP

Well, when I first started the project I had planned to do a short film that was around 20-30 minutes long. I soon realized that I couldn't tell the story I wanted to tell in such a short form, so I decided to go feature length. I guess I decided I might as well go all-in! lol

Thanks for sharing the videos and the kind words! We're going to have a big shoot next week and I'm hoping to have a teaser out by January. Cross your fingers!

Re: Star Trek - Horizon (Enterprise Feature-Length Fan Film)

Indeed. The youthful passion and lack of pretension is a breath of fresh air here and gives the project a distinctive charm that most of the fan films, I find, lack. I am honestly quite excited to see how this all turns out, tommygdawg!

This is a fairly tame forum where criticism is concerned. With the exception of a few who can't stop themselves from badmouthing certain individuals on other productions, it's actually a very genteel place.

Re: Star Trek - Horizon (Enterprise Feature-Length Fan Film)

Indeed. Constructive criticism has been welcomed by, largely, most if not all the fan film productions who have chosen to interact with the membership here.

Which isn't to say there aren't also those who can't differentiate criticisms from attacks or hostility, but those types are few and far between. Besides, tommygdawg has the right attitude and clearly the drive and talent and none of the cynicism, so I for one am quite looking forward to seeing what lies beyond the "Horizon."

Or the couple trolls who live on this forum and use it as a medium to constantly prove how smart they they think they are to everyone else.

Ultimately Tommy, the best thing to do is focus on your own product, and get tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, or like Phase II, millions of viewers. What a couple people on a Trek forum say will not affect your success. And it is way better to spend time with people who actually create fan films, not talk about them.

And I would suggest you have an active Facebook group for your fans, and possibly, when you get big enough, your own forum.

Re: Star Trek - Horizon (Enterprise Feature-Length Fan Film)

A goal well worth working toward and one I will do my best to help us all achieve.

Apologies, tommygdawg, for getting ahead of and a little too full of myself there. It won't happen here again.
