"How" is an anagram of "Who". That should count.
It's "Doctor Who?" not "Doctor How?"

Though "Doctor When?" would be oddly appropriate.

Gallifrey stands!

You missed my point. "Who" and "How" are anagrams. Same three letters, just in a different order. In this instance, actual word meaning is irrelevant.

Although in your interpretation, "Doctor What" would also do. As in "Doctor, what are you doing?" (Peri used to ask that a lot, with the Fifth and Sixth Doctors)

[QUOTE=Timewalker;9114145As in "Doctor, what are you doing?" (Peri used to ask that a lot, with the Fifth and Sixth Doctors)[/QUOTE]

Almost all of the comapnions have asked the Doctor that question.

It was especially noticeable with Peri, in Planet of Fire.

Yes, Peri was very 'noticeable' in Planet of Fire!

I'm referring to her dialogue. She kept scampering after the Doctor, saying, "Doctor, what are you doing?" "What are you doing now, Doctor?" and so on.

The only non-annoying thing she did in that story was try to swat the Master when he was in his shrunken state.

I know, just playing with words and thinking about how noticeable she was. LOL

But yeah, she was very inquisitive.
