Yes, that's another factor (and I do remember seeing her in that dress). I won't be able to afford another series anytime soon anyway, so I'll just have to see if I can work at getting the credit card balance low enough to throw Voyager onto it.

I'm not interested in getting TNG, I have Season 7 of DS9 because I'd missed most of the the Dominion War wrapup.

Voyager I had started taping (still have Caretaker I think), but I went into another personal upheaval with finances and multiple moves during its run, and missed or wasn't able to rewatch many episodes (particularly Relativity, which I never saw in its entirety, though we've discussed that).

It probably will be Voyager I break down for, though that would be months away from now. It really is my favorite of the 24th century series. My favorite Seven suit was the silver job and I only have a couple of photos of it. I don't think I have any video of it.

"Did I like Seven of Nine?"

Is the sky blue?

Seven is honestly one of my favorite Voyager characters as well as one of my favorite Star Trek characters in general. Jeri Ryan was brilliant in the role, and although some might think she was overexposed, she ended up being one of Voyager's most fleshed-out and developed characters.

The catsuit worked for me on Seven, and I could accept it within the context of the show. The catsuit did NOT work for me on T'Pol within the context of that show.

Re: Did You Like Seven Of Nine?

It looked particularly odd with everyone else in flight suits!

Explain that one to me? I didn't really have a problem with either, but I'm curious why one worked for you and the other didn't based on context alone? To me, it would have made more sense for Seven to be in a Starfleet uniform perhaps with her own unique pips. Afterall, the Maquis crew conformed right away (uniform-wise). And it would have also helped Seven feel "assimilated" into her new family. It's not a point that particularly bothered me, but I'm just curious about what made it work for you on one show and not on another?

Re: Did You Like Seven Of Nine?

I could accept the catsuit on Seven as being the EMH's magic corset that was somehow helping repair her skin tissue or interacted with her unseen Borg implants that may have still been on her torso and limbs.

Whatever T'Pol was wearing looked like its only purpose was to display the actor's figure. It didn't really look like a uniform or civilian attire common to Vulcans.

Both characters were there for the va-va-va-voom factor of course, but at least Seven's costume had a plausible explanation for its existence.

I've got to say that I disagree with this statement. I very much bought T'Pol's 'catsuit' uniform as being 100% in keeping with the general Vulcan uniform aesthetic that we saw elsewhere on Enterprise.

As for Seven's 'catsuit' uniform, I've never minded it, and honestly don't know whether or not having her in a Starfleet Sciences uniform on a full-time basis would've worked, although I do have to say she looked rather good in said uniform when we saw her in one in Relativity.

Re: Did You Like Seven Of Nine?

The suits I particularly didn't like on T'Pol were the ones that appeared to be velvet or whatever fake velvet is called.

I do think 7 was used to feeling totally enclosed and not having extraneous fabric moving around on her skin in any way. She was used to Borg suits. She would be comfortable in the catsuit.

They could have at least made T'Pol's suit look a bit Vulcan..

Go here for examples of Vulcan attire from the same general era as Enterprise (they don't have images of T'Pol's uniforms, though):

Then come back here and compare those images to these:
T'Pol's Uniform (Variant 1)

T'Pol's Uniform (Variant 2):
