You have something against "enhancements"?
In the main, I find myself prefering natural beauties ... like, oh, let's say ... just out of the blue, here ... Sarah Silverman and Jennifer Lien.
Nothing wrong with them either.

"Vixens"???
It's most apt, indeed. Although ... I do seem to have stumbled upon my first faux pas on these boards, with this word selection, have I not? Whenever I log onto this forum, I say a little prayer, "Oh, Lord, please ... don't let me be misunderstood!"

While it might be nice to dream, I don't think "But be warned, can get extremely horny and may jump you unexpectedly." applies here.

Sure do!!

While eye-ball liberty is a good thing, I'm on record saying they never should have gone there with T'Pol.

Re: Did You Like Seven Of Nine?

Oh, I agree, completely! I liked it when Pon Farr was just a Vulcan Male thing. It just made them more alien, that way, it seemed like. To say nothing of the cheapness of it, treating the show's leading actress like a piece of meat. And it didn't stop there, did it? Low Ratings ... have Jolene Blalock take her top off! (Yeah, they had Hoshi do, a time or two, but ... not to the same effect). And it was so cool that Jolene would, see that's the thing! You've got this actress who's a Team Player, she wants the show to succeed.

So, OK cool ... have her take her top off.

And..............what did we get? Very awkward poses, with her crossing her arms and cupping her boobs in her hands. The scenes surrounding this situation were embarassing. I just hated that they wasted this, what I like to call: The Nuclear Bomb Option - because you just know people are going to tune in! Gotta see how far the censors will let this scene go for ... but, like I said, what we got wasn't that hot. It's not Jolene's fault, it's nothing she's done. It's just lame treatment of her.

I think what we got was plenty hot..

Also I don't remember the arms crossing over boobs being a T'Pol scene, that was Hoshi.

Agree. And she did voice her disdain at the writing. Good on her.

But that's been done in all Trek series. Everyone pushed the envelope.

You are correct teacake.

I just shook my head when I saw it. Even though it was a comedic thing.

I think we are sort of taking over a Seven thread talking about Enterprise

Re: Did You Like Seven Of Nine?

The Hoshi scene was dumb IMO, maybe it was that character it didn't really work with?

The EMH's fantasy about painting naked 7, that worked as comedy but I guess you could say the EMH worked as comedy lol.

I have no recollection of that scene.

Although, I failed to record that episode several times, and it was a mocking hole in my vhs video tape collection for YEARS.

I'm watching some Voyager right now. Robert Picardo is fantastic!

Re: Did You Like Seven Of Nine?

Did the boys and girls hang out (PUN!) naked together in the decontamination suit all the time in Enterprise.

Most of the crew would have spent a reasonable amount of time rubbing decontamination gel into each others chests during the course of their lives in Star Fleet, if not their brief stint up to that point on Enterprise.

Re: Did You Like Seven Of Nine?

I know that Hoshi wasn't the only one strutting around naked, cupping her maracas, just for the hell of it. T'Pol had a couple of scenes like that, I remember one involved that accupuncture thing they were doing to help Trip sleep, or whatever. But only T'Pol's in front of the camera, holding her jugs and Trip's behind her. I forget the episode ... Yanks, help me out, here!

I hated those Decontamination Gel scenes, so bad ... just so bad. It was so transparent what they were even there for, there's just no way they could be taken seriously. Look, I love seeing chicks shakin' what they got for our entertainment, but this setup was almost insulting, in a way. I was so glad when they gave it up, but that's pretty much the time Trip scored T'Pol and their awkward romance wasn't really any better.

Anyone knows that they were for sex appeal. (for the gals too BTW - plenty of Archer/Reed/Trip & Travis too...), but I didn't have a problem with them at all. It was a decent precursor to the automatic detector/scrubbers in following series.

Re: Did You Like Seven Of Nine?

Thanks, Yanks! Yes, the ever-popular cross your arms and cup your boobs manuever that ENTERPRISE alone deployed! Look at that ... cinematically, it's just boring. "Oh, but Jolene's TOPLESS!!!" Yeah, but ... it's also a scene in a show and there's just nothing about this setup that's otherwise interesting. That's unacceptable! At least the shower scene with Trip & T'Pol - as stupid as that turned out to be - was visually interesting. It's certainly what a lot of fans had been waiting for. Oh! Sorry ... didn't happen! And all of her nude scenes in those few episodes were so brief, too. Like ... right before comercial and that's that. End of story. They never used Jolene's willingness to go nude in a way that was cool. It was just wasted ... and that's really surprising to me.
