I'm wondering if she can read a different book with each eye simultaneously?

Or if she positioned mirrors, if this woman can verify if any large body might be palindromical.

Why not read two books with the same eye?

I should think those Borg systems in her head can handle the incoming information. It's not the eye, but the brain.

I dunno about that, ever try reading in your peripheral vision? To read two books with the same eye they'd at least have to be rigged up so the part of the text you're looking at is centered in the same place all the time.

I suppose you could move your eye really quickly between two books.

If you look back a couple posts, you'll see that I was talking about Teacake all along.

Run two Kate Mulgrew interviews simultaneously, that should test this theory out.

I confess: One Halloween, I tried to watch a Frankenstein movie and a Dracula movie simultaneously.

The experiment was a failure.

Which ones did you watch? If there were something like, oh say, 'Frankenstein Conquers the World' and 'Dracula vs Frankenstein' there is very little to miss in either.

"Frankenstein: The True Story" starring Michael Sarrazin and "Count Dracula" with Louis Jourdan. They were on at the same time and I couldn't make up my mind.

(This was before VCRs and such, if you can imagine such primitive times.)

Re: Did You Like Seven Of Nine?

My kid once read The Fellowship of the Ring in one night. Starts it in the evening, goes to his room, emerges in the morning, DONE. He read Crime and Punishment in one night too. I would love to be able to read that fast. Instead I read at talking pace, probably slower than talking pace since I am annoying fast talker person.

Re: Did You Like Seven Of Nine?

I really don't understand how some people can read so fast but apparently it's a knack that some have.
