Actually if Seven & Spock met it would be perfect.

There is a novel coming out next year where Seven time travels back to Kirk's Enterprise. Sounds like it's going to be fun.

I am panting at the thought of this.
Thanks for mentioning that, so I didn't have to.

And, btw, I'm dying to see what they do for the cover.

I think Seven in a TOS era uniform would be pretty awesome for the cover.
Of course, I have no idea if that even happens in the book, but it does at least sound like a neat eye catching image.

Oh bloody hell. God only knows what Kirk (of all people) will do when he meets Seven.

OKay, just in case nobody clicked on that link, the book is titled No Time Like the Past and it comes out at the end of February, only three months from now.

And, yes, part of me is still amazed that they let me do this!

That's all well-and-good for Kirk and 7 ... but when - OK? - when will Tom and Rain meet up again in a novel? That's what no one seems to have any answer for!

I'd read it if it happened, but I have no real desire to ever "see" Rain show up in the books. There's a lot of other stories to be told and characters to revisit or that I'd be more interested in.
Not to rain on your parade, I just don't see a big demand for the return of Rain.

I don't know. I've been tempted to use Rain in the past. She came very close to showing up in Rings of Time and (spoiler alert!) makes a cameo at the end of my second Khan book . . . .

Oh, really? Well, I'm convinced that FUTURE'S END still "Rains" Supreme amongst VOYAGER fans ...

... and I'll be flipping through it like Tom & Rain are,
in the photo above!

Re: Did You Like Seven Of Nine?

I will go to my grave insisting that Tom had more chemistry with Rain than he ever did with B'Elanna . . . . .

You're on the right path, sir ... in every TREK novel a little Rain must fall. Don't break the spell ... and I completely agree with you on your chemistry comment! It was so obvious, onscreen. I guess the parties couldn't get it together to make a deal. More's the pity, I say ...
