It's interesting how many other actresses she can resemble. In one of those pictures, she also reminds me of Jennifer Morrison.

She probably would make a good WW, so Thumbs Up.

UP, obviously.

Although if we talk about Thor, Kat Dennings is the one who had I crush on when leaving the cinema.

Too bad she's playing Sif she'd make an ideal Wonder Woman.
If Chris Evans can be both the Human Torch and Captain America, Ryan Reynolds can be both Deadpool and Green Lantern, and Ben Affleck can be both Daredevil and Batman... Jamie Alexander can be Sif and Wonder Woman.

WB executives: get your heads out of your butts and make it so.

Eh... you're talking about defunct franchise crossing over to new ones and in almost all of those cases staying wthin in the same line of characters. (Marvel, even though in many of those cases different studios.) I'd argue there's a difference between Ben Affleck, who played Daredevil several years ago in a bombed mobie, being Batman in an upcoming movie is a bit different than Alexander playing Sif in two Thor movies AND then going over to play a major hero in a competing franchise.

Not saying it's impossible just that it makes things muddy. Look at what happened to Cyclops when James Marsden decided to play in Superman's love-triangle in "Superman Returns."

Chris Evans' Human Torch was done as the F4 franchise had collapsed, the Deadpool movie has been orbiting Limbo forever and, as said, the Deadpool "franchise" was dead before it even started. So all of those actors were mostly "free" to play other heroes. Not quite the case with Alexander.

If she *does* end up playing Wonder Woman in a future movie (B&S or her own) then it'd either mean recasting or removing Sif from any future Thor movies.

Not necessarily. Who says you can't play two different comic book characters at the same time, or that you have to choose between Marvel or DC? How many different cops have Bruce Willis or Clint Eastwood played? How many different cowboys did John Wayne play?

As I like to point out, whenever this issue arises, Buster Crabbe played Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, and Tarzan around the same time. Tom Tyler played Captain Marvel and the Phantom in the original movie serials. And Lon Chaney Jr. played the Wolfman, the Mummy, Dracula, and the Frankenstein monster back in the forties.

So, as long as there are no scheduling conflicts (as happened with James Marsden), why can't Alexander play two comic-book warrior goddesses?

Sif isn't that iconic or even well known anyway. It won't cut into Alexander being seen as Wonder Woman.

This.

If they were to say, "Take the Wonder Woman job and we're giving Sif the axe." Does anyone actually think she'd think twice about it?

Marvel/Disney doesn't exactly have a lot of leverage.

Rich Johnston (for what it is worth) is reporting that Jaimie Alexander Has Been Talking To WB About Batman Vs. Superman and hinting that her role if cast just might be that of a certain Amazon.

If Robert Downey Jr. can play Iron Man and Sherlock Holmes in two simultaneous series, I see no reason why Alexander can't appear in two different franchises set in two different universes.

She's an actress. Playing different roles is what she does. Just because both roles happen to be related to comic books really makes no difference. You are looking at it through fanboy eyes.

Exactly. A successful actor makes two or three movies a year and nobody's head explodes if two of them are in the same genre, or if they play similar characters in two different movies.

Heck, the cast of AMERICAN HORROR STORY play different characters every season and nobody gets confused.

If I were writing contacts over at Marvel Studios, I'd definitely be putting in "no DC movies for 3-4 years after appearing in ours" clauses, but hey, what do I know.
