Re: NBA Season - 2013-2014

I'm wondering if Indiana will now tank given the gruesome injury to George... (and the loss of Stevenson)...

Re: NBA Season - 2013-2014

The long-expected Andrew Wiggins (and Anthony Bennett) for Kevin Love trade goes through. Similar to a lot of rumors I had been following, it is a three team trade between the Cleveland Cavaliers, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Philadelphia 76ers:

Cavs get Kevin Love.
T-Wolves get Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett (from Cleveland) and Thaddeus Young from Philly.
Sixers get Luc Mbah a Moute, Alexey Shved, and next season's 1st round pick the Cavs got from the Heat.

The rumors had been that the Sixers were trying to get Anthony Bennett, but the T-Wolves seem like they've pulled off a great deal getting to keep him too. Out of context, one could argue the Sixers were just trying to get something from Thad Young who is a free agent at the end of the season and is unhappy in Philadelphia. In context, though, they've probably kissed goodbye any argument that the NBA should delay their anti-tanking measures.
