Re: Best Trek Lines Ever

I would have to go with Garak's famous line.

Bashir: What I want to know is, out of all the stories you told me which ones were true and which ones weren't?
Garak: My dear doctor...they're all true.
Bashir: Even the lies?
Garak: Especially the lies.

Also the EMH as the ECH!!

The Doctor: ACTIVATE THE PHOTONIC CANNON!

^^Makes me smile every single time.

Can't believe it hasn't been mentioned yet, but, "No! No! I will not sacrifice the Enterprise. We've made too many compromises already, too many retreats. They invade our space and we fall back. They assimilate entire worlds and we fall back. Not again! The line must be drawn here! This far, no further! And I will make them pay for what they've done!"

And of course, "Mister Worf... fire."

And I can´t believe, no one quoted this great bit of dialogue from "Balance of Terror" yet:

KIRK: I wish I were on a long sea voyage somewhere. Not too much deck tennis, no frantic dancing, and no responsibility. Why me? I look around that Bridge, and I see the men waiting for me to make the next move. And Bones, what if I'm wrong?
MCCOY: Captain, I ...
KIRK: No, I don't really expect an answer.
MCCOY: But I've got one. Something I seldom say to a customer, Jim. In this galaxy, there's a mathematical probability of three million Earth-type planets. And in all of the universe, three million million galaxies like this. And in all of that, and perhaps more, only one of each of us. Don't destroy the one named Kirk.

I just love that. And for another one, look at my signature

Mario

Best, most heart wrenching, line.
Matt Decker: "Don't you think I know that?"
Good one. Another TOS line that I always felt was just as heart wrenching: From "City on the Edge of Forever"

Spock: He knows, doctor. He knows.

Most awkward line in Trek maybe.

- Search For Spock. -

Excelsior: Level please?
Scott: Transporter room.
Excelsior: Thank you.
Scott: Up your shaft.

*Kirk holds up his hand in Vulcan salute.*
Kirk: How many fingers do I have up?"
McCoy: That's not very damn funny.

McCoy: Are you just going to walk through them?
Kirk: Calm yourself, doctor...

Kirk: I...! Have had...! Enough of, YOU!

- Star Trek VI -

-After Kirk makes out with the girl.-
McCoy: What is it with you, anyway?
Kirk: Still think we're finished?
McCoy: More than ever.

Spock: If I were human, I believe my response would be.... Go to Hell. ...If I were human.

- Trouble With Tribbles -

Chekov: I was making a little joke, sir.
Spock: Extremely little, ensign.

- Errand of Mercy -

Kor: I don't trust men who smile too much.

Re: Best Trek Lines Ever

I'm having fun with this. Here's another of my favorites, from "The Ultimate Computer":

Spock: Computers make fine and efficient servants, but I have no wish to serve under them. A starship also runs on loyalty to a man; one man. And nothing can ever replace it. Or him.

I loved this...
You beat me to the punch. Possibly my favorite line from TNG.

Another good one, from "Amok Time":

"You may find that having is not so pleasing a thing after all as wanting. It is not logical, but it is often true."
