So, who is "The Clairvoyant"?

I am, it would seem...

So, how cool is that?

Sure, it can be both, but how shallow and mercenary would it be to make a show that had no other purpose except to be an extended commercial for the movies? That's a ghastly notion.
Oops. Well, I am going to go with, "Sure, it can be both".

Dropped off at the orphanage as an infant? Didn't she once say that she remembered hearing her parents arguing? I guess the easiest explanation is that she was lying, but still...

And what could the "toy soldiers on the shelf" possibly be? A HYDRA robot army stashed away somewhere? The inactive Chitauri invaders in cold storage in Area 51 or the Marvel equivalent?
Sleepers, although I'd rather see them in a Captain America movie.

How about "Human Scorch?"

If that was the line from last week about Mom and Dad arguing downstairs, that was about May and Coulson's exchange in the previous scene.

Agent Jasper Sitwell (Thor, The Consultant, The Avengers, Item 47 and Captain America: The Winter Soldier) will be making an appearance in a episode called "The Hub"

"Level 8"?

Re: Agents of SHIELD. Season 1 Discussion Thread

I had dvr'd the eps and finally watched them all.

I really enjoy the show, for many of the reasons posted. The first episodes are often rough, even in shows I really like. They don't have to be 100% there, but interest me enough to give it another chance. This is, for me.

Unlike Brooklyn Nine Nine. It's funny, but Andre Braugher is the best part and the rest is...not bad, but I realized I don't care if I miss it.

Again, nobody said it was impossible, just that it's never been proven to May's knowledge.
And yet it was still a very conspicuous disclaimer which had everyone here talking about it for a week. Now we see that there may have been a dramatic purpose to that very conspicuous disclaimer.

And when it was basically reiterated by FitzSimmons, it was obviously supposed to be a standard bit of SHIELD info, not just May's opinion.

I even have to wonder (pure speculation here) if maybe SHIELD isn't very much aware of such abilities at a higher level of clearance. The disclaimer could be part of their cover for their own psi operations. Maybe they do or did have a psi division, and our villain group's leadership is the current home of one or more refugees from that division.

Nor did I say they would or should. See above. I think that the line that they made such a point of drawing attention to last episode was there for a greater purpose in the show's story arc. It was a set-up.

Aren't you a fan of Power Rangers? Aren't those just toy commercials when you get down to it?
