Re: Question about TOS

Well I finally got round to watching my first ever episode of the original series.

Watched the cage, the pilot episode, extended version with some parts in black and white,

I was obviously aware of the way it would be dated and would be humorous in many ways with what was perceived to be futuristic, but putting that expected things aside like doctor boyce's leather medical case, the printer for messages, spock smiling, odd uniforms etc the premiss was excellent and overall a really decent watch.

Guess the whole point of trek was the story and message for the show.

I liked Jeffrey Hunter and goddamn Susan Oliver was hot.

Re: Question about TOS

Sally Kellerman wanted to go braless in "Where No Man Has Gone Before" because it was the future, and in her opinion women wouldn't be wearing them. But the director (or somebody) insisted she wear one because, in his words, "You need one."

^^Wow. That gave me a flashback to her infamous shower scene from the movie "M*A*S*H". The word that comes to mind is 'pendulums'.
