I'd be kind of interested to see them adapt that as a parody of the nature documentary format (they could do Quidditch Through The Ages as a sports documentary), but if this is more of a straight adventure story, that could work fine too.

This new Fantastic Beasts project isn't, technically speaking, a prequel to HP; it's a completely new original project that just so happens to be set in the same universe as the HP novels.
