Well they both go through to the final round.

I was hoping Breaking the Ice would win. Sure the episode has tons of flaws, but that's one of the few Trek episodes in general that really captures the whole exploring space bit.

Agreed in "Breaking the Ice" you did get the feel of exploration that they were seeing/doing something that no one has done before. For me "Shuttlepod One" is one of the srongest episodes of the season, all they needed to do was trim out most of the scenes on the Enterprise and it would have been even better.

Sleeping Dogs is a strange winner! I would have Shuttlepod One and The Andorian Incident myself. At least I can vote for the latter in the final.

Yep, same here. Two great episodes.

Not a fan of "Sleeping Dogs" and thought "The Andorian Incident" would win.

I was pretty convinced The Andorian Incident would win too.

Well this kind of knock-out system has provided some suprises, remember "Journey's End" won the S7 round for TNG.

Once AGT, The Pegasus, and Parallels were knocked out, there was nothing left. Shame to the person who chose Journey's End over Preemptive Strike.

Well "Journey's End" was an apt title for reaching the end of the seasons phase of the knockout.
