Blimey. This just makes me all the more happy that Smith got what he wanted. The rest make him look like a late-twenties, fashionable British male. What he chose made him look DOCTOR.

And look, that green coat was in the TARDIS wardrobe all along!

Definitely glad we got the 11 we ended up with, but the 'pirate look' was definitely not the Jack Sparrow cliche people suspected...if antyhing a proper pirate look would have been more interesting!!

I like the Sherlockesque outfit with the dark suit, overcoat, and tie. (I should mention that I prefer Eleven's darker outfit from the Clara era to the lighter outfit from the Ponds era.)

The other ones don't work for me at all.

Actually, I like most of them, but I have a penchant for quirky clothes.

The sleek, dark one is gorgeous, and I think it fits how the Doctor could look like... with a dark twist. I love it.

White T-shirt, vest and coat is classic, and it looks very good on Smith, but not very Doctor-ish. Still good, tho.

Plaid shirt, vest and throwback 80s' black jacket is probably the best, in my opinion. Young, quirky, fashionable, and yet very Doctor. Still love what we got (the "young professor" look), but I kinda wish they went with this one.

I actually prefer this costume to the one we got. It looked so cool! Was perfect!

    (minus the stripey T Shirt)

But the pirate one is crappy. Man now I can see why Moffat originally didn't like the bow tie. If not for that, I could finally gotten my goth doctor! :P

The costume with the tie looks great but I'm not sure if it's very Doctor-y, looks sharp though.

Wow, he just looks like a normal guy in the other costumes. Relieved with what we got.

Yes, though I like a good outfit featuring a waistcoat and Matt definitely looks good in one - glad he eventually got one for his later adventures.

I kind of like the "middle manager" one even though it isn't particularly Doctorish. The others just leave him looking too much like a fashionable pretty boy for my liking.

He looks like any other guy walking around London downtown. Doesn't scream "Doctor"

Matt looks like he hates it but he's worn similar stuff before he was cast

And he brought a similar coat to the Doctor Who season 5 press tour!

I'm glad we got the one we did. It really helped solidify "his" Doctor.

The two looks we got for Matt are both far better than any of the other options, so yeah, I'm very glad it worked out his way. :)

The question now of course what will the 12th Doctor wear.

They made the right choice, but I like most of these outfits, especially the one with the stripey shirt.

Yes, reckon so. Those outfits looks straight off the "Friend or Foe" cover shoot.

The heavy coat smacked of something from WWII.

The other outfits made him look like the sort of offbeat male models they have in weekend fashion supplements in broadsheet newspapers. The one we got made him look suitably eccentric and Doctor-like.

So, a striped shirt is a "pirate outfit"? It's nice to see what they meant. Who the hell thought describing a striped shirt as "pirate outfit" was accurate?? I like what we got, definitely the best of the lot. The fashionable middle-manager outfit is too Sherlock, I think.
