All Our Yesterdays... I don't like time travel episodes and Spock "in love" isn't very convincing.

The Enterprise Incident
Is There in Truth No Beauty?
Spectre of the Gun
Day of the Dove
The Tholian Web
Wink of an Eye
Elaan of Troyius
Whom Gods Destroy
Let That Be Your Last Battlefield
That Which Survives
The Lights of Zetar
Requiem for Methuselah

Where?
Number One in The Cage.
As well as "The Menagerie" which used clips from "The Cage"

"Requiem for Methuselah"...For one I can't imagine an educated immortal to be that unwilling to render aid, and Kirk falling madly in love with an android (and knowing she is not for real) is a thing I find impossible to believe.

The Enterprise Incident
Is There in Truth No Beauty?
Spectre of the Gun
Day of the Dove
The Tholian Web
Wink of an Eye
Elaan of Troyius
Whom Gods Destroy
Let That Be Your Last Battlefield
That Which Survives
The Lights of Zetar

P.S. Is the outstanding trademark of Season Three that all the principle characters fall in love with somebody and partially several times?!?

"Is There in Truth No Beauty?" It should have been titled, "Is There No Interesting Story To Tell?" It does have one nice FX shot, but besides that... Nutting, as Chekov would say.

What's left:

The Enterprise Incident
Spectre of the Gun
Day of the Dove
The Tholian Web
Wink of an Eye
Elaan of Troyius
Whom Gods Destroy
Let That Be Your Last Battlefield
That Which Survives
The Lights of Zetar
Requiem for Methuselah
All Our Yesterdays

I forget where but I read (or saw a video comment) where Fred Frieberger said that they added in more romance for female fans.

Unfortunately which if often the case when someone in another demographic thinks they know what the other demographic wants they are often wrong.

I am a female fan and while I like a well written romance, the one episode romances of most Star Trek episodes I am definitely not a fan of (with a few exceptions).

So yeah McCoy's romance in The World is Hollow, Spock/Zarabeth in All Our Yesterdays, and the countless Kirk romances I just don't care at all about.

I'm going to get rid of "Spectre of the Gun". Not a huge fan of westerns and yet another advanced alien race tests the crew.

The Enterprise Incident
Day of the Dove
The Tholian Web
Wink of an Eye
Elaan of Troyius
Whom Gods Destroy
Let That Be Your Last Battlefield
That Which Survives
The Lights of Zetar
All Our Yesterdays

The Lights lights of Zetar. Boring guest star, no redeeming value other than to add Memory Alpha to Canon. A lazy episode just to give a regular actor a "falling in love" episode.

The Enterprise Incident
Is There in Truth No Beauty?
Spectre of the Gun
Day of the Dove
The Tholian Web
Wink of an Eye
Elaan of Troyius
Whom Gods Destroy
Let That Be Your Last Battlefield
That Which Survives
Requiem for Methuselah
All Our Yesterdays

Not removing an episode yet but fixing the list, someone has already removed All Our Yesterdays.

The Enterprise Incident
Day of the Dove
The Tholian Web
Wink of an Eye
Elaan of Troyius
Whom Gods Destroy
Let That Be Your Last Battlefield
That Which Survives

Thanks! I was undecided between "Requiem" and "Spectre" (another "abuse" to reuse costumes as a budget saving measure...).
And as a fan of the Matrix Trilogy I felt it to be inappropriate to kick out a Star Trek episode that qualifies as a predecessor.

Spock would never fall for such a bimbo. Never I say never.
Are you kidding? Only the dead would not super leap up to that city to meet her!

Topic:

"Whom Gods Destroy"

ST looney bin was well addressed in "Dagger of the Mind," so this episode fell flat. Yes, the inmates are supposed to be insane, but they all projected like theatre, rather than TV drama performances.

That, and Yvonne Craig must..I mean MUST win the award for the most scenery-chewing performance in ST history (meaning all series). It is no wonder her less than top level gifts played a big role in sinking Batman.

It's time for the primadona to be knocked off so it's goodbye to "Elaan of Troyius"

The Enterprise Incident
Day of the Dove
The Tholian Web
Wink of an Eye
Let That Be Your Last Battlefield
That Which Survives
