Caprica soundtrack

There's not really an "article" or blog post about this, but since things in the BSG world are pretty slow right now, I thought this was news worthy....

http://www.bearmccreary.com/blog/?p=6823

If you scroll down to the second to last comment, which is dated May 19, Bear McCreary posts this in one of his comment responses...
Johnathan… “Hey bear are you going to release the Caprica series Soundtrack soon?”
Sort of. “The Cape” soundtrack is up next. “Caprica” is on deck after that.
Is anyone else excited for this? I'm stoked! I love all of McCreary's work for BSG, and have really enjoyed what I've heard on Caprica so far. I haven't seen the second half of the series yet, but I checked out his blog post for the final episode of Caprica and I really liked the music he was pulling together for that. I look forward to adding the Caprica album to my collection.

I'm looking forward to it, although I wish the more music from BSG album would come first. Still, it's good to know that's still in the works, even if it is on the back burner for the moment.

Very excited to finally get some sort of confirmation that Caprica will get a proper soundtrack release (other than the music from the pilot). The music from the finale is simply amazing, and I'd gladly pay to get my hands on the music from the epilogue montage at the very end of the series. Simply gorgeous music.

Where is that More music from BSG album? I was wondering the other day if it was cancelled. Did Bear ever say anything more about it?

As far as I know, it's still in the works. Bear McCreary is just really busy, so these other CD releases get put on the back burner.

Does Bear have a soundtrack album out for the 'The Walking Dead' yet?

It doesn't look like it. I wouldn't be surprised if one is released soon, though.

I realize that this is an old post to reply to but I don't think it's been mentioned anywhere else yet.

The 2cd season soundtrack is out at Lala records for $19.98. Autographed copies seem to be sold out though.

Re: Caprica soundtrack

^Yeah, unless you jump online and are ready to go the moment they're released on the website, you don't stand much of a chance getting the signed copies of his BSG albums. I don't know how quick Caprica went, but the Blood & Chrome autographed CD's were gone in less than 5 minutes.

Bear's starting to make me a little bit jealous.... I ordered my CD when I got off work the first day. Since then, Bear's been retweeting pics daily of people who already have their CD's, while Lala Land is telling me that mine still won't even ship for 2-3 days.
