Re: Would you rather?

Breakdown - property trade deals are the key to Monopoly, unless you get ridiculous dice rolls. Spock is too logical, and wouldn't trade properties. Data would be like Spock, but would eventually get it, but not the first time. The EMH would think the game would be a waste of time and would probably be out within 4 turns around the board and give Indiana to some idiot that asked for it first. Phlox is a polygamist and has no CLUE what the game is all about.

Obviously I would like to play Quark, since it would actually be a challenge.

Would you rather be Riker, Kirk, Kim, or T'Pol's doctor and have to give them the 'bad news'? (I assume VD hasn't totally been wiped out in every form by the 24th century, as per VOY:The Disease).

T'Pol's...with the understanding that I would just happen to have a hypospray of "The Cure" conveniently located in my hand, ready to administer...

...would you rather be alive in a transporter diagnostic loop for 75 years, or diagnose transporter problems for 75 years?

Re: Would you rather?

Alive in a transporter diagnostic loop. I don't think Scotty appreciated it the way I would have when it happened to him. Assuming what happened to him happened to me, I would be sad that all my friends died (except Spock and Bones) but from an explorer/engineer's point of view (what I probably would be), I would be astounded at all the new information at my hands, especially the holodeck.

Would you rather escort Bones, Spock, or Scotty around the Enterprise D?

Scotty...a chance to see a human being having multiple orgasms as he walks and talks...

Re: Would you rather?

You forgot to add a new question HIjol. Now what are we to do (besides wait for anyone to ask a new one)?

Re: Would you rather?

I would rather not wait for someone to ask a new one.

Would you rather have a beverage and talk politics with Worf, Data, or Picard? And why.

Not a "Would You rather" question, but on a side note - do you think Picard thinks 'Engage' or 'Make it so' when his romantic encounters turn carnal?

VASH (over margaritas with a girlfriend): He was so gentlemanly, and we had a great time. But right before it happened, he looked me in the eyes and said (imitates British accent) 'Make it so'.

FRIEND: Yeah, that's weird.

Haha.

Picard. He could read a phone book and I'll be interested.

Picard: A. Arron Arronson
Me: Continue.

Only with known shipmates (like Beverly).

As a Captain, would you rather give in to your crew-member's advances or dismiss them? (Kirk and Picard did it so I don't think it's against regulations)

Dismiss. If it were somebody equal rank or in a different command chain it'd be one thing, but having a relationship with somebody you have direct power over is very bad.

Would you rather date a Denobulan or a Talaxian?

Re: Would you rather?

Denobulan, for sure...I like knowing that the mating might require medical,supervision...
gives "...right into the middle of next week..." a whole new meaning...

...apologies for forgetting the new question...

Re: Would you rather?

And then you did it again.

New question:
Would you rather teach Kirk, Riker, Nog, Paris, or Trip how to play one of today's console games? (Your choice of what video game)

Re: Would you rather?

Are we talking early series Nog or late series Nog? I think early series Nog would be incredibly fun to game with, so I'll go with that. He'd also want to bet latinum on fighting games.

Paris probably already does play modern console games.

When you die, would you rather go to Stovo'kor or the Divine Treasury?

Re: Would you rather?

Sto'vo'kor. It'll be wild living with Klingons for an eternity but they'll keep me entertained longer than the Ferengi, plus it's not like they can kill me, I'm already dead. Bring on the wine, women, and meat. Qapla!

Would you rather be known as the conquer of the Dominion, the Borg separator, or the Romulan/Federation/Gorn uniter?

Re: Would you rather?

Ok, one more chance for HIjol...

Rather be the Unitor!...diplomacy is my gift, and conquering just does not feel right...could not agree more with bbjeg and going to Sto'vo'kor for Eternity...every day would be a good day to die!

Would you rather be assigned to Enterprise A or Enterprise D?

Re: Would you rather?

The D. I think I'll learn more with D's crew. On the A, I'd probably be fighting for my life more.

Would you rather shuttle race with Paris, play opposite Data in a holonovel, or play war games against Sisko on the Defiant (you choose your ship)?

Re: Would you rather?

Definitely play opposite Data in a holo-novel...what an experience that would be...Paris might get me killed/booted out of Star Fleet, and I wonder how much actual enjoyment I would get opposite Sisko...

Would you rather be a member of the Klingon High Council, the Cardassian Union, or the Romulan Senate....
