Re: FLASH series being developed for The CW

The producers decided that her presence complicated Barry's love life too much. They wanted to have a sexual tension between Barry and Tina McGee. But also have relationships with other women who were guest stars.

Surely the fasted man alive should be capable of juggling a mere 4 women?

(They barely had him hooking up with guest stars.)

Yup. Plenty of other pilot girlfriends have suffered the same fate, written out so the heroes could be free to have romance-of-the-week stories and/or tension with their female leads.

Although it worked pretty well in the case of the '90 The Flash, since Iris was kind of a flake and Megan Lockhart was a much cooler love interest.

I'm really curious to see the costume for this Flash. The comic version is a hard thing to make look good in real life. While the one from the 90's Flash looked pretty good it always bugged me that it looked impossible for one person to put on by themselves.

i think this Barry is the kind who likes to take it slow when it comes to relationships...he seems to nice a guy to be a player. And we already have that with Oliver Queen & Bruce Wayne...

But I thought the Flash is known as the Fastest Man Alive?

Re: FLASH series being developed for The CW

I think he's a child (19 or 20 years?) who has had his head in a book since he was 12 and never had the opportunity to play the field or be swarmed on by women who recognize a good catch.

Between Badge Bunnies and Cape Bunnies, Barry will be batting them off with a stick.

But Barry isn't.

How many episodes of the Flintstones did Fred have to be in two places at once?

He is, in fact, he'd been known to move as fast as 13 trillion times the speed of light.

Re: FLASH series being developed for The CW

You can't go faster than light in real space.

Relativity.

As long as he keeps accelerating, what he is doing will take a reducingly geometric fraction of the relative time to act out than it appears to take in the real world.

Or time travel.

He could be sliding backwards in time at a similar negative rate to how he is moving forward in time, like anyone else, creating a zero sum.

Sure I can't, I'm not Flash.

I kind of like the New 52 costume with the seams that glow. I wouldn't mind seeing something like that onscreen.
