Re: Kate Mulgrew - Orange is the New black

Okay I've decided this doesn't actually need a spoiler tag and I love it so much I couldn't stop thinking about making it when I saw this scene and now that I have finished the first episode here it is..

(Wanted to post this on FB but the groups I'm in are all Kate, or the Orange ones aren't VOY ones or..)

Yeah I am laughing at my own funny

The backgrounds we are getting this year are truly enlightening.

Very "Joy Luck Club".

Re: Kate Mulgrew - Orange is the New black

Teacake, this season.... you are going to wish YOU were Piper.

How sad is it that when I read these "articles" entitled "11 things this/14 things that" etc, that I can pick out when they make a mistake.

http://mashable.com/2014/06/06/orang...w-black-facts/

Like when one link (somewhere a few posts ago) called Larry "Harry", or this one about the 11 things, makes an error like "every time Piper goes to the phone the crying lady is there."

Nope.

Plenty of times she's been AWOL during the Piper melt downs.

One "spoilery" thing I think I can share w/o tags is the crying woman is back....

...and she's STILL crying.

If so, not in the first 7 eps... but geographically its possible.

Have you met the babbling brook yet?

ETA:

CNN gives season 2 an "A" grade.

Re: Kate Mulgrew - Orange is the New black

A mildly spoilery discussion of season 2 from NPR.

http://www.npr.org/2014/06/06/319523...n-a-new-season

And to bring this thread back to the woman who headlines it... here's one of my fav quotes from the above column.

Another wonderful side benefit of Orange's approach is the running room it gives to ace actresses like Toussaint and Kate Mulgrew, who plays a Russian powerhouse with her own tangled history regarding Vee and the old days behind bars. Elsewhere in TV land, these ladies would be exiled to playing judges and grandmothers; here, they stand at the center of the action, making moves which will affect the future of the prison.

Los Angeles approves.

http://www.latimes.com/entertainment...05-column.html

Well, it approves of everything EXCEPT Larry. I loved this line.

The fictional Larry seems created to be the slightly dull, often self-pitying "normal" boyfriend Piper acquired on the rebound from the wild girlfriend (Laura Prepon) who led her into a fancy life of crime. It doesn't help that Schilling has better chemistry with Prepon.

OH...

MY...

GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS IS FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great discussion of OitNB & snippets of season 2 but no significant spoilers.

Please get this straight, Larry is NOT her husband!

Do NOT read this if you haven't watched the Big Boo / peanut butter episode.

HoC & OitNB stars & director discuss Netflix style of "TV".

Welp I'm watching it differently tonight if I can manage it. It was perfect for 3 eps then ep 4 took FOREVER it was awful.

Busy all day though so can't sneak any in for quite a while.

SUCH an enjoyable show, such awesome acting!!!

I closed Netflix at 3 am and refused to reopen it until tonight since I KNEW I wouldn't stop with just "one more" and the lawn really needed mowing!

As for your question....

Do you REALLY want to know?

Are you absolutely sure????
