Yeah, but do you see them making an Aquaman any time this century?

A solo movie is a longshot, but I could see Aquaman being part of a Justice League movie.

He's basically the Thor of the ocean's. Plus he even has an evil brother

A good director could make some stunning ocean shots too.

Verily. My favorite Aquaman is the bombastic, bearded one from Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and when I try to think who could play that version in live action, Chris Hemsworth is the first name that comes to mind. Although being Thor would create sort of a conflict there...

You raise an interesting question for discussion, though, namely: Why is Aquaman more like Thor than he is like Namor? Or is he?

Well, his brother Liam does look quite a bit like him

Jason Isaacs is 50 years old. He won't be playing a superhero in anybody's lifetime.

^He could be a rebooted Ras Al Ghul (having already voiced him in a Batman animated movie)

Honestly, I think Aquaman has a better shot at making the JLA moving than Martian Manhunter!

And, heck, Aquaman almost got his own show on the CW a few years back . . . .

Yeah, I think in a world where we've had a Thor movie and are getting an Ant-Man movie and a Guardians of the Galaxy movie, it doesn't make a lot of sense to scoff at the idea of an Aquaman one. That's not to say they'll definitely make one, but it's hardly out of the question.
