May not be legit, but this is purported to be a model of the full car:

If that is anything like what the final car will be like then it's WAY better than the Burton version.
Without wheels, it looks like it could fly.

The pic with the costume in it looks like it has wheels so maybe the model was a preliminary concept.

Or the wheels retract Back to the Future style. No idea how sci-fi a Zack Snyder Batman is going to be.

The title of the film hasn't officially been announced yet. Though I don't think they'll use "World's Finest," either.
Well, Superman vs. Batman was the title they used in the same press release that announced it would be followed by a Justice League movie. The articles I read at the time asserted that to mean that this was the title they'd decided on. Although I see now that IMDb is calling it Batman vs. Superman instead and Wikipedia just calls it an untitled sequel, so maybe I was misinformed.

The movie is only partly drawing on The Dark Knight Returns.
Well, of course. I never said it would be an exact adaptation, but the point is that it's obviously the main influence on their portrayal of Batman. So I don't expect to see Batman and Superman chumming around like they did in World's Finest.

Too inside. It would have meaning to comics fans, but would be strange and uninformative to the vast majority of moviegoers who aren't versed in comics history.
Why do you think the audience is stupid? Superman and Batman on the poster, and the title “World's Finest“, and people get it.
First of all, it's not about what I think, it's about what the movie marketers would think, because they're the ones making the decisions. Second, titles aren't seen exclusively on posters, but used in text and communicated through word of mouth.

Besides, it's a matter of impressions. The comics-fan audience is maybe one percent or less of the target audience for a major motion picture. Say the rest of that audience sees a poster of Superman and Batman with the title World's Finest. What does that title tell them about what Superman and Batman will be doing? It doesn't really convey action or excitement, and it would probably look pretty weird to people who aren't familiar with comics history. The only reason comics fans like the title is nostalgia. Set aside that affection for the familiar, look at it objectively, and it's not a great title. I mean, it sounds like something you'd see printed on an egg carton. Remember, the original title of the book was World's Finest Comics (actually World's Best Comics to start, but only for one issue). It wasn't a reference to Superman and Batman themselves, because it was an anthology title featuring adventures of numerous superheroes, anchored by Superman and Batman stories in every issue. The title was blatant self-promotion, a boast that this comic book was the best around. It's a relic of the commercial hucksterism of the 1940s.

I think you need to better communicate what's your position and what you think is someone else's position.

Second, titles aren't seen exclusively on posters, but used in text and communicated through word of mouth.
When communicated in text or word of mouth, it's never going to be standalone. Just like The Avengers wasn't communicated that way. It was always in context that Iron Man, Thor Captain America and Hulk team up.

Say the rest of that audience sees a poster of Superman and Batman with the title World's Finest. What does that title tell them about what Superman and Batman will be doing? It doesn't really convey action or excitement, and it would probably look pretty weird to people who aren't familiar with comics history.
What does the title Iron Man, Superman, Amazing Spider-Man, or The Avengers convey? The sequel to this film is perhaps going to be called Justice League, doesn't convey anything either.

A little while ago, WB registered some domains that seem to suggest this list of possible titles:

Man of Steel: Battle the Knight
Man of Steel: Darkness Falls
Man of Steel: Shadow of the Night
Man of Steel: Beyond Darkness
Man of Steel: Black of Knight
Man of Steel: Knight Falls
Man of Steel: The Blackest Hour
Man of Steel: The Darkest Hour
Man of Steel: The Darkness Within

I'm very curious for Superman's costume reveal. I wasn't a big fan of the suit from the last movie either. I know I'll probably be crucified for this, but I'd like to see something a little more along the lines of the New 52 suit.

You expressed concern about the portrayal of Superman in The Dark Knight Returns. That's what I was addressing by providing the quote from Snyder and the fact that it's only partly influenced by TDKR.

Hopefully the new supersuit will be a couple shades brighter.

The costume designer said the change would be only slight, so I'm guessing they brightened up the colors and maybe altered some of the alieny design work along the sides.

I was a big fan of the MOS suit myself, although I definitely think it looked a lot better in the behind the scenes shots than in the darkened onscreen version.

Amen. I'm tired of red being so dark it looks like they got caught in a dirty chimney. The new Flash is an example of that trend.

My biggest complaint about the MoS suit was the texture. If they could dial the texture back I would probably be much happier with it. As far as the colours go, I think the suit fell victim to the colour grading process. If you look at an unfiltered shot of the suit it looks much brighter.

That basketball texture is going to age as badly as 70s wallpaper and 80s fashion.
