I'd like to see them move inland. How about Snakenado, set in Texas?

How about a crossover?

Sharknado Vs. Ghost Storm!

(Yes, Ghost Storm is a real Syfy movie.)

Sharknado gets a sequel and Sharktopus doesn't?

Nah, NATO is in Europe. It would have to be U.N. to be set in NY (though versions of Greg's will probably one of the most suggested)

Sharknado takes bite out of the Big Apple!

Re: "Sharknado" from Syfy

Ian Ziering is my girlfriend's cousin.

Entirely coincidentally, she enjoyed watching it.

I can't hate a movie where interviews about it have gems like:

Aren't the sharks at least as much victims of the sharknado as humans are?

Ah, well, now we’re into the larger philosophical issues of the film. What does it say about humans that when poor displaced sharks are ravaged by nature’s uncaring fury we try to kill them with chainsaws? I think we need to take a good long look in the mirror over that one.

What would happen if you spliced a shark with dark matter?

You’d have a sequel!

My son and I can't wait.

This movie looks awesome.

Holy crap that was awful!!

Just what we were hoping for.

The best scene of course was:

That scene alone made the whole thing worthwhile. Tara Reid can't act at all. At least Ziering seemed to be trying. John Heard's drunken barstool swinging...what the hell happened to him?

The CGI could not have been worse.

All in all, a perfect bad, cheesy movie. We all laughed our heads off.

Sharknado sucked. I am ashamed to have bought into the hype and gave it a chance.

Re: "Sharknado" from Syfy

Sharknado was bad in all the typical Asylum ways-- nonexistent plot, random dialogue, awkward post-production overdubs, terrible editing, sloppy special effects et cetera-- so I don't understand why it got more hype than anything else. This one didn't even have a good cast. John Heard was good, but his character was killed off too soon; although I think the guy who played the son did have some personality. I did get a kick out of the over-the-top antics, of course-- cars and swimming pools that explode for no reason, shooting flying sharks out of the sky with a pistol, house on top of the hill that explodes from the pressure of water that apparently runs uphill-- but it was nowhere near as entertaining as other movies of its type.

Blast Vegas was much better. That one was more like what I can an A-List B-Movie.
