Brooks/Sisko is the counterpoint to Shatner/Kirk. Shatner didn't have hair but wore a toupee. Brooks did have hair but shaved it off. Picard and Janeway opted for the natural look.

What has happened to the Internets? There was a time a guy named "Star Wars" making such a comment would have resulted in a tirade of burning, burning rage. Now people take things in their stride and act reasonably. I'm completely disillusioned in the entire world right now.

Welcome to the kinder, gentler Internets.

DS9 made lots of gutsy moves, like re-casting Keiko's role with that hyena.

IIRC, Janeway wore a wig during the first three seasons. That ponytail getup wasn't her natural look.

It was the natural look. Janeway was played by a different actress in the first three seasons.

I see. So that means that three different people played Captain Janeway if we include the French Canadian actress who quit after two days.

True!

Maybe we should start a new poll.

While we're at it, why did two different actors play Martok? And how did the second one lose his eye?

And how was Sarek both a Vulcan and a Romulan at the same time? I know they're related, but come on!

Why did they change Dax's hairstyle in the last season? It made her look shorter.

And what about Dukat? He spent all those episodes as a Bajoran. There's no way that could have been the same actor.

Odo's face changed a bit too in the first few years. Definitely a different guy.

He was wearing another wig in that picture.

Patrick Stewart started losing his hair when he was a teen, and was completely bald by the time he was 19.
