Did I miss something happening to the fat girl from the radio station? She hasn't been in the last two episodes. At least was making an effort to get through the dome.
Lip service was given last week that she was gone to get radio parts or something somewhere else, this episode didn't spend much time at the station/had to deal with Plot Outline 384-L ("Medical Crisis with Limited Medical Supplies.")

Who knew bacterial meningitis was so aggressive yet also so easily treated?

And Creeper Guy is deputized. Yay.

Well, at least what's-her-name was found by Corrupt Politician With Ulterior Motives so that piece of pain will [hopefully] be over. So she's been trapped down there for a few days, right? Mostly chained to the bed? Ummm.... Where has she been pooping?

Julia finds out Barbie was involved with her husband's disappearance so, YAY, plot progression! Also the only character I like (but for pretty shallow reasons.)

And aren't teenagers so cute and quirky? Taking 50 pictures with their phone while making funny faces in the space of a couple of minutes? Her phone sure snapped a picture and stored it pretty damn fast!

I will say the seizure thing is an interesting aspect but it's the show throwing a bone at you in an episode still filled with cliches and boring plot elements.

I mentioned that to my son. She must be well and truly on the nose by now.

Joe is a pretty dumb teenager in this show. Also wait. Angie is his sister? And he's just now worried about her whereabouts? That was a bit of a WTF moment for me. Especially with no parents around, wouldn't finding and/or staying with his sister be priority number one even if she apparently doesn't live at the family home (which also seems a bit strange but whatever)?

And "maybe the Dome doesn't want us to tell anyone?" Uhh so what? Why would you be on "Team Dome?"

Okay, you're going to have to explain that expression to the Americans. Does that mean "smelly"?

Yes, it means smelly.

I didn't realise that it was an Australianism rather than a phrase more widely used.

Most Americans - older Americans - would understand this phrase to mean arriving somewhere on time.

Younger Americans would understand this phrase to mean exactly correct.

Very few of us would use it to describe smelly.

Non Americans ditto.

I thought it might have been a typo, and you had meant to say "on the Noose."

I remember the first time I was in London and I asked a native London resident why everyone was, "Jay-walking." The person looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language.

And for those that don't know - jay walking is a common American term for people who don't cross a street at the cross walk or at an intersection but rather anywhere then traffic clears.

It seems that the only place it is used to mean "smelly" is in Australia, at least according to wikionary.

We use the term jay-walking in Australia.

Had a female friend in high school who visited London one summer. She said the hotel asked her if she like someone to "knock her up" in the morning. She was ready to call the police. That means VASTLY different things in our two countries!

I've seen the first four episodes now. Nothing outstanding, but it's watchable. The teenage angst is annoying already and the acting is all over the place, but it has my attention.

At least they were polite enough to ask!

When she got upset did they offer her a fag?
