"The Last Days on Mars" film Sept.2013

devolves into something that I hate to say is derivative and brings absolutely nothing new to the sci-fi game, which is a bit unfortunate because it otherwise visually looks great

There is a 1 minute partial scene clip on youtube with Liev Schrieber. I cant find it right now on my mobile phone.

I want to se this even though i read a headline that said space zombies.

First Trailer For Last Days On Mars, Sci-Fi Thriller

a one minute trailer is up for this film.
Last Days of Mars will premiere in the UK on September (no word on a U.S. release date yet).
From that selection of footage, it looks we’re somewhere between Moon and Prometheus. That’s a long axis.

This is the first trailer for the film, though I ran a clip back in May.
I do like the production design and lighting.
The sets look like they borrowed the Defying Gravity's sets or Mission to Mars. The visual FX look kind of like 2000's Mission to Mars. I still want to see it. It would be the 2nd space-set film I've seen after the enjoyable Europa Report on-demand this Summer. I am also looking forward to the Gravityfilm set in space later this year.
