Re: Music Cues Copyright Infringement Avoidance?

Copyright laws do change... but does anyone know how long copyright lasted on music that was released in 1966-1969? For some of the time that copyright has existed, it was as short as 50 years. Other times it's been lifetime +XYZ years. Just curious if anyone knows when the copyright on the music will run, and it will all go into the public domain.

OK, just did a little research... at the time of TOS, music was covered by STATE law, and was only added to Federal copyright later. Also, it appears the term was about 95 years as a work for hire. But I'm not sure. Another thing I read made it sound like it was 56 years.
