I like that they don't drink their Kanar alone in the dark.
For a while in Season 7 while he was still Weyoun's errand boy, I'm pretty sure Damar drank Kanar in the dark every night.
And in the light, and everywhere else.

^I think it says something about the Cardassians that they put a shopping mall and casino in the middle of their ore processing station.
Maybe they put an ore processing station in the basement of their space mall.

I actually thought his thread was about the new Deep Space 9 station from the novels; the cover featuring Doug Drexler and Andrew Probert's new station design was just released a few days ago:

It's not terrible, but the original DS9 station is immense.

I voted no. What is the origin of the image? Is this something that was on the show?

^ It's the station from Tacking Into the Wind where Kira and the Cardassian rebels stole the ship with the Breen weapon.

I voted no. The design of Terok Nor is pretty much perfect as is. I love every inch of it and am looking forward to finally see it in full glorious high definition.

I had to vote "no". I loved the look of DS9 from the start, and this just doesn't work for me.

Voted no, not because I think it's "ugly" (I don't), but because it looks more powerful. DS9 had this fragile look about it that you could find it easier to believe the Cardassians would just abandon it. This station looks like a brute.

Yeah, Terek Nor has an elegance to it that this station sorely lacks.

And I'm not really digging the "new DS9" on that book cover either.

I think what this thread actually needs is some classic beauty pics of our good old Cardassian space station:

I vote no... mainly because it is not iconic and bold ds9 would be recognizable in a silhouette but that would not be.
