No DS9 is dubious, but otherwise a decent list.

Weird for TNG to not be there; I'm used to people overlooking DS9.

Excellent list. I assumed (before looking) that TWILIGHT ZONE would be in the tope five.

List looks pretty solid, on first reading.

Three shows I like that I was surprised to see on the list were Soap, Louie, and Oz even if they just barely made the list.

The Office is at #66. I like Parks and Recreation much better, but that's not on the list.

Cable Top 10
The Sopranos
Mad Men
The Wire
Breaking Bad
The Daily Show
Six Feet Under
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Deadwood
Battlestar Galactica
Sex & the City

It's nice to see Star Trek ranked way above Laugh-In. No particular reason...

DS9 is mentioned on here as "a glaring omission" from readers of the LA Times.

I would have included DS9 but I'm not surprised not to see it since fewer people watched it.

Ok, Seinfeld was quite funny, but I can think of other sitcoms that are certainly better, like Arrested Development . TNG should have been way higher on that list, and DS9 should at least be on it! I am a bit surprised that Doctor Who is nowhere on that list, but I'm not sure that the writing and characterization of that show has ever been on the same level as Star Trek.

arrested development is not better than Seinfeld! It only tries harder to be more clever.
