As far as I'm concerned, we don't need one more military character. The MMU has quite enough of them.
Since they changed Rhodey to Air Force in the MCU, I think it would be fun if Rhodey made a cameo in the Ms Marvel movie as an old friend of hers. Maybe War Machine can help her a little at the end of her movie?

Yeah, no. I have absolutely no interest in the U.S. military, that's not something I find fun, exciting or appealing at all.

Hmm, of the various Avengers only Steve Rogers was actually military. Otherwise you've got Rhodes from the Iron Man films, since SHIELD is some sort of super- spy government agency. I'm not sure how two headliners and one secondary character out will be so many especially once you bring in the Guardians and Ant-Man into the mix?

Re: Ms. Marvel Movie and Blade Reboot

I like ms. Marvel, and if she gets a movie, I hope she's Ms. Marvel in it. She shouldn't get the name of my favorite superhero (the real, original, Captain Marvel) just because Marvel pulled some jerk moves with copyrights before DC got the rights to the true Captain Marvel. I actually like most of the Marvel comics characters that have the name (my favorite being Peter David's Captain Marvel run) but its always ticked me off that Marvel screwed over my favorite superhero. Regardless, I prefer carol as Ms. Marvel, in her costume she was wearing for years before becoming "Captian Marvel".

A Heroes for Hire movie would be awesome if done right. Put Luke and danny in there, maybe Misty Knight and Jessica Jones as supporting characters, and have them fight someone cool (not some of the lamer villains they've fought, like Nightshade). Maybe Purple Man could fit if they have Jessica as a character, although that may be too uncomfortable for a superhero movie.

I want a KITTY PRYDE: PHASE ONE movie, with or without Ellen Page, and I want it now. No Wolverine cameo. Let her stand or fall on her own. Have her fight the Brood. I'm in.

An Oscar-worthy idea.

I would love a Kitty Pryde movie, but that's actually Fox's call.

Excited most about Black Panther and Blade. I wouldn't mind seeing a Captain Marvel movie either. I'm not too big into her current series-and the current artwork is atrocious-but I did like a lot of her stories during her last Ms. Marvel run (around the Civil War/Dark Reign era).

It would be nice to get a Daredevil reboot and a Moon Knight film as well. Or maybe do either for a TV series, Arrow-style.

I'd much rather see Ms. Marvel introduced in the X-Men movie universe specifically for this reason. I want super strong, flying Rogue!

Re: Ms. Marvel Movie and Blade Reboot

The bias against top-billed heroines in comics films is painfully clear. Even if Ellen Page wanted to reprise her role (40 percent chance?), studios would give some cock-and-bull about unmarketability or other nonsense. Kitty Pryde can be funny and smart, somewhat like Tony Stark, but we mustn't thwart the will of the under-15s who will accept Elektra but nobody else as a Marvel female lead.

You'll also never see an X-MEN ORIGINS: STORM. Halle Berry can frontline a film, but not as Storm. Though as portrayed in comparison to the original character, she didn't truly seen to nail the true nature of Ororo. Also, even the original character is as hypocritical as she is insufferable, at least as written by Chris ''The Outcome Never in Doubt'' Claremont. But if by some miracle there WERE a Storm film, I'd still take Claremont's take over Berry's.

As for Wonder Woman, my feeling is that her character is seen as way too partician and not approppriately kick-ass. Also, having her flying inside her invisible plane would immediately look stupid.

Not possible. FOX doesn't own the rights to Ms Marvel so crossovers aren't allowed to happen. Besides, Marvel won't allowed their potential franchise Ms Marvel be short changed just so Rogue can look good.

It's FOX's own fault for making Rogue look so weak and pathetic like Bella from Twilight in the first place.

More like 100%. She is going to be in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Me too, but you don't need Ms./Captain Marvel to do that. Just make up some gibberish about her powers coming back with a vengeance after the "cure" didn't take, thus making her the supercharged, flying crazy person we all want to see.

Personally, I hope they go with "Captain" over "Ms." since 1) it's been the 21st century now for well over a decade, so it's about time we started acting like it and 2) it fits in nicely with the Marvel movie lore.

Specifically the whole Iron Patriot/re-branding bit in IM3. If by whatever mechanism one of their soldiers winds up with super-powers, then they're going to want to capitalise on that and drawing parallels with Cap would be half the point.

Speaking of, exactly how do we think they'll handle her origin story? I'm no comic book expert, but even I'm aware that her origin/publication history is about as strange, convoluted (and at times as oddly misogynistic) as they come. Given a clean slate I suppose they could tie her powers into the Asgardian mythos? Her power set is after all, fairly god-like. Demi-god-like at the minimum.

Is there some reason they couldn't work the Kree into the MCU? It seems to me that Carol's origin story would be a good way to bring them into the movies.
I just started watching Season 2 of Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and I read the first issue of the new Capt. Marvel series earlier this year, and based off of those I would love a Capt./Ms. Marvel movie. Personally I'd prefer they call her Captain Marvel.
