If there would be new Star Trek audiobooks...

Who would you like to hear?

I think Terence Knox doing some Millitary Sci Fi Trek audiobooks would be awesome. Just listen to his awesome voice.

He is the guy that is being interviewed. His voice has just the right mix of toughness and cockiness in it.

I would love the upcoming Enterprise Rise of the Federation books read by cast members of the show. It seems like it will never happen though.

I would listen to unabridged audiobooks, mainly for older novels that I haven't read yet (or want to read/hear again).

Sorry, misread the OP.

Personally, it doesn't really matter much to me who reads them, just as long as they are good at their job (of reading audiobooks).

I prefer when Trek veterans do them.

If not full cast I would like multi voice recordings more than single readers.

I think Simon Prebble would do an amazing reading for a TNG novel. His work on Neal Stephenson's Baroque Cycle is superb. His Jean-Luc would be equally impressive.

Or Brian Thompson, the actor who played Klag in Shades of Grey. I always like it when they pick someone who's character plays a big role in the book.

Well, he's Klag from "A Matter of Honor". Some of his footage was reprized in the clip show, "Shades of Grey".

Ooops, I couldn't remember the name of the episode Klag came from, and when I skimmed his Memory Alpha page that was the first title I saw.

"Shades of Grey"? Agreed, horrible episode. I've not tried it myself, but I heard a rumour that if you watch it fifty times in a row, it gets much more interesting for some reason.

The missed opportunity with "Shades of Grey" was that they could have used some scenes that had not aired, such as Wesley's birthday party (from "Coming of Age"?), cut for time. I've read it in script form. Worf asks Beverly her age and she gives him a sharp look and replies, "Have some cake, Worf."
