Oh boy, inb4 product placement. xD

I didn't notice the Mazda logo on that car driven by dying kid's parents, but they'll probably just add it in post.

This is not your father's Oldsmobile. This is the new generation of Olds. That's the first thing that popped into my head.

Neat commercial really.

Oh, and Mazda 6? What happened to the first five Mazdas?

Mazda 6 is the successor of the classic Mazda 626, just like Mazda 3 which replaced the old 323 model.

Yeah. I liked the 626 back in the day, the 929, too.

I was actually making an obviously lame or too obscure reference to "The Ultimate Computer", where McCoy asks Daystrom why it's called the M-5 computer and not M-1.

LOL, had you made that reference in June or something, I just might have gotten it.

I'm rewatching TOS at a really slow pace. Haven't seen "The Ultimate Computer" since 2002 or whenever the hell our national TV last aired it.

The First 3 Mazdas blew up before Construction was finished. The 4th Mazda was sent back in time, and Mazda 5 endured and became a symbol of Hope for 1000s of years.

Oh, wait...that was the Babylon Stations. I don't know what happened to the Mazdas

At least it's not the Mazda 06.

The next version should be the Mazda 6-A.

Bah. If it's not powered by a Wankel, it's no Mazda. Wake me when Mazda does tie-in advertising for the new RX-7.

I actually thought long and hard when I was getting vanity plates for my car as to whether I should go for NCC 1701. Then, thought better of it.
