I can see why the Morena Baccarin comments.
I haven't cared for her for many years, so it would be a personal tragedy for me if she were cast!

I usually try to stick only to legal sources, but if they're not going to release it legally here I think I will just go ahead and watch it on Youtube.

Really we need to put Morena Baccarin and Alex Kingston in a blender...

Ok maybe not...
I think that would get you Sinéad O'Connor.

ETA: Scary, but probably in the wrong way.

After several years I have started to re-watch the series from the beginning. I know I have several videotapes from when i recorded it in the 80's, but cant find them LOL. Youtube works better.

52 eps to go through? Does that mean you're actually going to play Animals?

A marathon is a marathon. You take the good with the bad.

I sat through Spocks Brain and Threshold on reruns of Star Trek and Voyager so this is no different. Besides, Dayna was basically character assassinated from the start of the fourth season (screaming like a school girl in front of the 'sea devil') so Animals doesn't really make it any harder. Granted you have the plot the size of Star One in that Dayna spent her entire life on Sarren and yet somehow managed to leave, fall in love with this considerably older man and still have feelings for him after all this time despite only supposed to be in her early 20s... yeah I'll have to tread through that one carefully.

I got interrupted a few times so had to abort. I'll try and rewatch the pilot again as I just missed so much. Will probably do a thread about it.

Something's I remember from along time ago yet many things I don't, and feel like in watching it again in a new way. Yes the SFX are bad, but its the stories and the acting I like.

I watched it a couple of years back. First episode I saw was out of context and I thought it was laughably bad, but in context it was great.

It's funny how the first episode isn't a true blakes 7 episode, and follows the lawyer for the most part. Blake sort of takes a back seat while the first ep showcases the Federation's badassery and sets up much of the backstory.

Not many shows would do that these days.

Damn, I forgot to watch this (the original) today. I'll try to remember to check it out later this week.

I thought the scientist guy in Animals went to Sarren as one of Dayna's tutors? That doesn't explain the age gap of course!

Animals does have some amusing scenes with Vila in the sludge tank at least
