A year ago, there was an interview with Patrick Stewart in a London Restaurant. During the interview, Benedict came into the scene. He asked Stewart, matter of factly, whether being involved in Trek might be adverse to his career. Stewart didn't think so.

That leads me to believe that Cumberbatch hangs around, Vader-like, for XIII.
