Cellular Peptide Cake (with mint frosting)

As part of my birthday yesterday (local time), someone in my family made me a cake inspired by the Troi-cake in Phantasms

I must need new glasses, 'cause at first glimpse it looked like cellular peptide steak with mint frosting.
