Extended cut of TNG's "The Child" with deleted scenes

Hey all,

We're continuing our series looking at some original extended prints of episodes from The Next Generation. This time we're looking at the season two opener "The Child".

Check out the article here:
http://trekcore.com/blog/2013/03/exc...ner-the-child/

There's almost 4 minutes of brand new never-before-seen deleted scenes to digest!

Again, all very good cuts. It's fascinating getting this look into the editing process. This isn't a particularly good episode to begin with so trimming the fat becomes even more necessary.

Great! It's true there's not much worth adding but as fan curiosities and "making of" material, these are fascinating.

It's an ok episode but the direction/editing etc is great and makes a poor episode much better... Contrast this episode to something from season 5/6/7 and its superior in many ways IMO.

Very interesting to see what could have been and great to see what was cut and why. A nice look into the production side of the house. Nice work, TrekCore.
