That's giving him too much credit. It's been my experience that bigots treat others the way they do as a way to hide the fact that they're lying to themselves about their own inadequacies. It's easy to ignore the fact that you have a problem if you can take shots at a group of people you don't understand or relate to.

Freddie Freeman and Steve Delabar win the fan vote to join the all-star team.

Could be. I never thought about it too much. Just my way of saying I care even less for the people who are tolerant towards everyone when the spotlight is on them only to be bottling in the most hateful things and thoughts when no one's looking.

YES! I could not be any happier that Freddie Freeman has won the final vote for the 2013 All-Star Game at Citifield. He deserved far more than that arrogant upstart Puig. Anyway, looks like Freddie has got some hugging to do.

As for the AL vote...I'm a little disappointed Robertson came in second. Oh, well... at least Freeman is going.

Delabar's story of having a massive injury and coming all the way back to an All-Star game in inspiring.

The Braves lost their entire starting outfield within a 24 hour period to injury. Ready for the all-star break.

Tim Lincecum pitched a no-hitter tonight against the Padres. If this were 2009, I would have said it was a matter of time before he would get one. Because this is 2013 and it seemed like the Lincecum of old would not come back, this no hitter means a whole lot more than that.

Don't give up on the "Freaky Franchise." He is reinventing himself and learning how to live with an average fastball. His other stuff has gotten better and he is becoming more of a nibbler while pitching to contact. It will take some time but he is still an effective pitcher who can get outs while pitching to contact.

His breaking ball was nasty last night. He had some awesome defense behind him, the two Panda plays along the line. It had everything to make a no hitter happen.

Freddie Freeman hurt his hand yesterday during an in game collision. Can't play in the All-Star game. Pretty disappointing but at least the Puig fans might get to see him after all.

Update: Nevermind, Bochy selected Brian McCann to replace him.

The Braves are running out of players. To lose an entire outfield plus your starting first baseman in one weekend is nothing short of disaster.

Well granted they aren't serious injuries. They got back Gattis today and Justin Upton will be ready to start Friday when play resumes as will Jordan Schafer. B.J. Upton goes on the DL for a 15 day stint. (No big loss) They are still figuring out Heyward but I doubt it will be more than a 15 day stint which will be retroactive to last Friday.

Update: Brian McCann was selected to the All-Star game to replace Freeman.

Good that Puig won't be involved. Yes, I am one of those people who believe you should play more than half of the games of the first half to be in the All-Star game.

Maybe next year.
