As soon as prostitution is legalized, you'll be able to get sex prescriptions from your doctor that are subsidized by Medicare.

Re: When did voyager go wrong?

They should have had Janeway and Chakotay get together in the last few episodes, so it would make sense that she would risk her life, her career, and the very timeline she came from to save the true love of her life, rather than doing it for her less-than-secret obsession with Seven.

I still laugh at that zit joke in Animal House, what a fucking waste it was that Belushi OD'd. Imagine how awesome Ghostbusters would have been if Belushi had been in it.

Re: When did voyager go wrong?

One of my favorite Belushi performances was only from an audio tape of National Lampoon's Lemmings, a theatrical spoof of Woodstock where he, Chevy Chase, Christopher Guest and others played multiple roles, two years before some found fame on Saturday Night Live.

Belushi's highlight is probably his impersonation of Joe Cocker, and a video of a later performance of the show eventually turned up.

Re: When did voyager go wrong?

So everything Bill Murray has done would have been John Bulushi's career, and Bill Murray would have gotten James Belushi's career, and James Belushi would have sold used cars?

Re: When did voyager go wrong?

No no no no no no no no no.

Belushi would have played the Egon character.

Ghostbusters would have been Belushi, Murray and Aykroyd. It would been incredible

Melakon I remember seeing that once before and it is fantastic stuff! But it makes me sad because Belushi was such a unique guy and I feel deprived he dropped dead like that. Thanks for posting it, I'd forgotten about it and it was great to watch again.

Re: When did voyager go wrong?

I saw Continental Divide recently.

Poor bastard still needed a funny script.

That was the problem with 90 percent of John Candy's scripts too.

Hollywood kept feeding them garbage.

Yep, they ignored the raw talent and comic instincts of Candy and just wanted him to be fat funny man.

Re: When did voyager go wrong?

I punched the sky when after the mudwrestling girls from Stripes finished beating the crap out of him, that he stole their bikini tops and they bashfully ran away squealing.

Would John Candy or John Belushi have done Star Trek?

Maybe not on the telly, but how about one of the Movies?

Re: When did voyager go wrong?

YES. Belushi would be, of course, Harry Mudd. JJ would fall over himself to get Belushi in this role. And Candy could be an Orion manslave (because, ENT) that Gaila keeps in her walk in wardrobe at Starfleet Academy for off nights when she doesn't bring home human boys.

Re: When did voyager go wrong?

Mudd showed up in the prequel comics, although I'm not sure how that will impact on the movie.

Re: When did voyager go wrong?

Oh and in case I left it out, I would be Gaila. With the walk in wardrobe.
