A Spoilerific Guess About the Villains of Trek Into Darkness ...

MASSIVE spoilers are ahead if I'm right. But that doesn't happen very often, so feel free to read on anyway.

Alright, that was fun. I'm going to go back to that first season episode I was watching when all of this hit me.

Except that Enterprises' first mission was to Vulcan that was under attack by Nero.
So no one else had command of Enterprise before Captain Pike.

No, you're thinking of the new one we saw in the 2009 movie. It's been proposed that April had command of a Constitution-class Enterprise from much earlier and that that is the vessel we see Kirk heading towards during an EVA jump in the trailer.

Re: A Spoilerific Guess About the Villains of Trek Into Darkness ...

Is that your opinion or you got it from a website?

While I think he could be an android, I see no reason they would have him be Ruk. Remember they are trying to start with a fresh new audience and it makes no sense to have him be this one off character from a TOS episode that would need some backstory.

After Pegg's article from today I'm starting to think he is Osama Bin Laden reincarnated.

I'm thinking more Jason Bourne.

If this somehow turns out to be the plot of the film, please make a note and date in the ships logs.
