Yeah, the price I mentioned was out the door with all of the fees and taxes that we get to enjoy in CA. NADA on it was $3,750 and that's based on normal miles. Since this baby is way under normal miles I wasn't able to talk them down. Not to mention about 40 other people had requested quotes and one guy was PR approved and just waiting to see if I would pull the trigger.

The way I see it, I got a new bike for used price. I feel confident enough in my riding that it won't be a mistake on my part that causes damage...and I got a pretty killer deal on insurance in that case anyway.

^ Congrat's, Flux, on getting your bike. Looks really nice. Glad to hear you're going to take is slow and ease into getting out on the open road. I've heard horror stories about driving in CA. Please be careful.

Looks sweet. Really nice bike, and a sensible size to start out with.

Spokes are a real shit to keep from rusting though. Probably not such a problem in California though.

Don't be tempted to save time with a pressure washer, I found out the hard way that they can take more than dirt off...
