I'm sick of Showtime being cheap. The ratings were fine, I didn't watch it, but why not a movie or short season to just kill the Pope off?

It's like The Big C getting canceled and then getting four 60 minute shows to end it. Why not just 8-10 30 minute shows like it used to get?

I've read it's expected to get a movie to wrap up.

It was expected but it's not happening, the season 3 finale is the series finale.

I don't really care though, I like the european Borgia series better.

The movie costed too much and didn't get picked up.

And the show was going to have the pope burn in hell! That would be worth it alone.

Shame. I feel this was a little underrated as a program (not the best thing on TV, but a very solid costume drama and one of the btter ones).

Never realised before now that the American series was created by a European and the European series by an American.

I ranked this right up there with Game of Thrones myself.
