Who should voice the Enterprise computer?
Going forward, what would you like to see happen regarding the role? Do you think they should use a Barret-Roddenberry sound alike, perhaps a rotating list of voices, or a new permanent voice actor? If so, who? I would choose George Takei, owing to both his great vocals and articulate delivery, and his connection to Trek (TOS specifically). Avery Brooks would also be a contender. |

![]() 'Course, she already did a computer voice in "Dead Stop". So, I guess we all know the actual correct answer: Carrie Fisher.

Re: Who should voice the Enterprise computer?
Expand your horizons for people who have good voices. Probably feminine as that's what we've had for almost 50 years. A booming baratone coming from the speakers would be ridiculous. "T-Minus 45 seconds until self-destruct. Ohhh myyy..." It's absurd.
