5 insane scifi weapons that now exist in a reality

Well, partially anyway.

Sonic weapons have been around for ages. You won't be seeing most of these in any Chinese arsenal anytime soon.

I found this article rather amusing.

Star Wars and Star Trek generally don't overlap technologies. For example, one has hyper speed, the other has warp speed. The Empire has proton torpedoes, the Federation has photon torpedoes. Star Wars has sexy blue chicks, Star Trek has sexy green chicks. Yes, there is a massive narrative gulf separating these two completely different, utterly dissimilar universes.

Ah.. Cracked.com

The site that has induced more belly cramps from laughing than any other site i know of. I just love their writing style and humor and like TVTropes it's asite where hours can go by in the blink of an eye.
