Just found this, from 1995 and based on the segment from John Mike Ford's How Much For Just the Planet:

...I thought the point of the hammer demonstration was that the crystal did shatter from the "middle" blow, and that the shrapnel from the success was what nearly did in the cameraman who had chosen to wear red that day?

Way less awkward than many of the educational videos I have translated for the local market. Wonder if I can slip this one in among the next batch?
