![]() What a marvellous actor. His dramatic parts in Branagh's movies were always enjoyable, but he was effortlessly, ridiculously funny in so many other roles. They're the ones I remember and enjoy best. Here's to The Good Life, Mr Briers. RIP.

Both The Good life and 'Ever decreasing circles' are being shown on one of the satellite channels at the moment.'The Good life' in particular was huge in the seventies,Richard Briers seemed such a likeable affable man. On a related note,has anyone seen the updated 'Yes Prime minister'? Dire.
