Anyone heard any news on this? I thought Ford would only do the movie if he approved the script and the director.

JJ can just use a CGI Ford if he can't get the real one. No one would know the difference.

Isn't that the point? Even at the height of his career, he had no influence on the decision-making of Star Wars.
