Heh...you'd be surprised. Some of my best clients have been people who still have these old legacy PERL web apps lying around. Of, course, most of those want them upgraded to PHP, ColdFusion or some other more "modern" method but some of them just want some tweaks here and there on existing servers.

Hell, the hippies that coded COBOL back in the dark ages now all own 60-foot yachts and fully irrigated underground weed farms thanks to Y2K bugs that have been in legacy systems since the 60's & 70's. By that standard, PERL still has a few more good years of shelf life to it.
