The world according to 24. An insane and utterly brutal place, packed with extremists and psychos, and often on the verge of some worldwide society-dissolving catastrophe. Not even the ability to drive anywhere in LA in moments would be worth that.

Then again, the 24-verse counterpart of L.A. can apparently survive a nuclear explosion detonated in a nearby area with no lasting ill effects.

There is also Angel Grove which seems to suffer from destruction from massive multi-storey robots.
