Well of course it's been done, there aren't any original ideas left. Well, aside from Borg Tribbles, of course.

But anyhoo, I think I totally ripped off TOS Metamorphosis. That's the one with Zephram Cochrane and the warp rocket, right? Or was that an Enterprise episode? Must have been, the warp rocket was in the opening credits.

What were we talking about?

Where are you going with this? Is Kirk going to have to go on a vision quest to learn Harrison's Borg Tribble secrets? Maybe they can work in one of Chakotay's ancestors that way, which will recanonize Voyager (sort of.)

Perhaps he will show up dressed as Thor. "Kirk" is a Norwegian surname, so it fits.

Maybe Borg Tribbles can be the villains in the next Avengers film. They'd be just like the Chitauri, only small and furry. So, uh, I guess nothing like the Chitauri.
