I'm all for it, though Snyder isn't my first choice. Like Trek Star Wars would benefit in many dramatic ways if it had good stories set outside the bounds of the Skywalker clan

I'd like to see them try to deny Lucas, who created Star Wars when he was denied the rights to make a Flash Gorden remake!
